Davenport House Garden

The Davenport House Garden was created in 1976 by the Trustees Garden Club. Built in the traditional, formal English style, it is surrounded by a brick privacy wall and decorative wrought iron gates. The garden accommodates up to 75 guests, has a parking area and restrooms. Couples exchange their vows beneath a lovely jasmine covered archway. The Davenport House Garden is the ideal location for an elegant garden wedding.

Savannah Botanical Gardens

Savannah’s Botanical Gardens framed in roses, flowers and exotic plants is the ideal location for a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. Established in 1997, this ten acre site holds an exquisite flower garden, a completely restored 1800’s farmhouse, rose garden, gazebo overlooking a pond, nature trail and more. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with many native plants. The building has restrooms, a bride’s dressing room, and there is free parking. The gardens provide endless wedding photo opportunities.

Bethesda’s Whitefield Chapel

Bethesda's Whitefield ChapelOne of the most popular wedding venues in Savannah, Bethesda’s Whitefield Chapel is an ideal place to say, “I do.” This historic chapel, named for Rev. George Whitefield who founded it in 1740, has hosted weddings for superstar Paula Deen, actress Mandy Moore, and country singer Joe Nichols. The chapel is nestled under moss covered Live Oak trees which enhance Bethesda’s scenic grounds. It features the original wooden pews, chandeliers, brick floor and gated altar with stained glass window. In addition to the chapel, there is an amphitheater on the grounds should a couple prefer an outdoor venue with a lovely view of the marsh lined with majestic Oak trees.

Private Gazebo

We invite you to exchange your wedding vows in the beautiful setting of Savannah’s historic Beaulieu Plantation District. The Amish custom built wedding gazebo provides the perfect setting for your ceremony and photos. The Victorian Gazebo will accommodate the couple and up to 20 guests where you can experience your dream wedding or renewal of vows. The Gazebo is decorated to create the effect of a charming wedding chapel complete with stained glass. This venue has many beautiful features that make excellent backdrops for your wedding photos: old Savannah brick walkways, grape arbor, a pond with small bridges, many colorful camellias, hydrangeas and azaleas! Access to the Private Garden is included with the Private Gazebo Wedding.

Private Garden at the Gazebo

Experience your intimate ceremony tucked away in a secret garden, under a vintage wrought iron archway beside a lovely fountain completely surrounded by camellias, gardenias and ferns.  This is offered as an elopement package for the couple only and does not include guests.
